In Movie Empire Tycoon, you start with a simple studio, a subpar camera, a mediocre director, and some pretty green actors. Do your best to find a script, then shoot the movie. If the script is half-way decent, your movie will do fairly well in theaters, bringing in money which you can then use to improve your production company by hiring a more competent director, finding skilled actors, and using a professionally-made set.
Throughout the game, there are an assortment of missions you have to complete, such as 'level up the set table,' 'hire a new actor,' and so on. From time to time, you can also attend castings where you look for the right actor for a particular role.
